Authorities have issued **Alert Level 3**, warning people to stay away from the volcano. Flying volcanic rocks and the risk of more eruptions remain serious concerns.
Seismic activity is also increasing. “Over 900 earthquakes are rattling the nearby Tokara Islands,” pointing to rising volcanic unrest across southern Japan.
