Amy Schumer and John Cena’s steamy scene in *Trainwreck* (2015) has sparked renewed laughter after both stars shared behind-the-scenes details.

Schumer joked that Cena was “actually inside me” during filming and once described the experience as “having a refrigerator on top of me,” referring to Cena’s massive physique. She added, “I think it was probably harder for him. I just did what I usually do… just lay there.” She even confessed with mock regret, “I didn’t get to feel his balls. Major regret.”

Cena, however, called the shoot “awkward,” saying in a 2015 *Conan* interview, “They wanted awkward, so we gave them awkward.” On *Club Shay Shay*, he explained that what was supposed to be a dialogue scene became a full-on stunt-filled sex scene: “There’s a whole f\*\*\*ing world back here… Catering was right there… Nothing intimate about it.”

Schumer later joked on Instagram: “That s\*\* scene meant a lot to me… I’m in love with you.”

Cena also admitted he didn’t tell his then-girlfriend, Nikki Bella, in advance: “Nicole had every right to be upset… I should have told her from the beginning.”
