To uncover the truth, she installed a nanny cam. The next day, she saw her husband return home even though he had left for “work” earlier. Pretending to feel unwell, she got permission to leave work and rushed home. Her husband looked surprised and said, “You are early.”

Then he admitted the truth: he had been laid off a week earlier and was too afraid to tell her. “I’ve been home looking for jobs and helping out with the kids,” he said. He confirmed the nanny’s story, adding, “I told her to shower while I watched the kids.”
