Cabot appeared uncomfortable and turned away, while Byron ducked out of view. Days later, Astronomer launched an internal investigation, stating, “Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.” Byron resigned July 20, and Cabot followed a week later.

Rumors surfaced that Byron might sue Coldplay, but legal experts say he has no case. “He had no reasonable expectation of privacy,” attorney Ron Zambrano told Fox News Digital. “His lawsuit is dead on arrival.” Trial attorney John W. Day added, “He doesn’t have a legal leg to stand on.”

Martin later joked about the situation at another show, warning the audience before putting them on the screen. Even Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, joined the fun with a mock video ad as Astronomer’s “temporary spokesperson,” poking fun at the viral moment while promoting the company’s services.
