Beloved ‘Little House On The Prairie’ Star Passed Away At 91

Jack Lilley, actor and stuntman best known for Little House on the Prairie and classic westerns, has died at 91. His talent, dedication, and warmth made him beloved by colleagues and fans.

Melissa Gilbert, his former co-star, confirmed his passing on March 21 with a heartfelt tribute. She shared how Lilley guided her on set and in life, recalling childhood moments when she would ask, “Can we go ride? Please, please, please?”—and he always said yes. For her, those lessons showed his kindness and mentorship.

On Little House, Lilley served as Victor French’s photo double and played multiple roles, showing his versatility. His stunt work added authenticity and excitement to every scene.

Beyond television, he appeared in films such as Blazing Saddles, earning admiration for both his skill and creativity.
