Less than 24 hours after Charlie Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University, the FBI and Utah police gave their first update. “Preliminary evidence suggests premeditation,” officials confirmed, adding they are not ruling out “the involvement of additional individuals.”

Kirk had just taken the stage when gunfire erupted. Witnesses described chaos as “attendees screamed and ducked for cover.” Kirk collapsed from a fatal shot while the auditorium turned into a crime scene.

Authorities revealed key leads: suspicious movements caught on surveillance, communications on the suspect’s device pointing to coordination, and digital messages sent before the attack. “This is still an active and fluid investigation,” said Utah’s police chief.

The FBI urged the public to share any photos or videos, stressing their goal is to find “who may have enabled it.”
