Footage shows possible assassin ‘running on roof’ moments after fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk

People believe footage shows Charlie Kirk’s assassin on the roof of Utah Valley University moments before the conservative activist was shot and killed on September 10.

Donald Trump confirmed Kirk’s death on social media while his condition was still uncertain, writing: “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth… Charlie, we love you!”

The shooting, which happened during an outdoor talk at the university, was filmed from multiple angles. Authorities think the fatal shot was fired from the top of the Losee Center, about 200 meters away. Videos shared online, including by Alex Jones, appear to show a figure moving on the roof before and after the attack. Attendees said the person was “running on the roof” before the event began.

Officials initially arrested two suspects but later released them. FBI Director Kash Patel said: “The subject in custody has been released after an interrogation… our investigation continues.” Authorities now believe the shooter acted alone and remains at large.

Tributes poured in after Kirk’s death. Trump and Melania sent condolences to his wife Erika and family, while Joe Biden said, “There is no place in our country for this kind of violence. It must end now.”
