Donald Trump Recalls Charlie Kirk’s Last Message in Emotional Tribute

On September 21, 2025, around 90,000 people filled Arizona’s State Farm Stadium to mourn conservative activist Charlie Kirk, whose death shocked the nation. President Donald Trump delivered a moving tribute, calling Kirk “a martyr for American freedom” and promising justice for his assassination.

Trump shared Kirk’s final words — “Please, sir, save Chicago” — vowing to fight urban crime in his memory. The message deeply resonated with the crowd, symbolizing Kirk’s lasting influence.

During the memorial, Trump criticized local officials for “allowing crime to persist” and expressed sympathy to Kirk’s widow, Erika, and his parents. He praised their strength and faith amid tragedy.

The president confirmed that a suspect had been arrested and said investigations into “radical groups fueling violence” would continue. He called for broader solutions, stressing that “justice must go beyond police action.”

The service, one of the largest ever for a private citizen, was broadcast nationwide, showing the scale of grief and admiration for Kirk. He was fatally shot on September 10 during an event at Utah Valley University, prompting nationwide tributes and reflection on his powerful legacy.
