It’s been a rough few years for Simon Cowell, but he’s now confirmed what we all suspected about his son. I don’t care what you think about the man himself, but this must have been an extremely hard decision

Over two years, Simon Cowell suffered two serious e-bike accidents — one in Malibu in 2020 and another in London in 2022 — that left him with lasting injuries. During a Today Show appearance with the America’s Got Talent judges, he admitted, “wasn’t in the best shape before the mishaps… It was a revelation, a true god’ moment.” Despite this, he declared, “I’m not giving up on my bike.”

The second crash caused a concussion, a broken arm, and a back injury that required surgery with metal rods and screws. Inspired by his fiancée Lauren Silverman and their son Eric, Simon changed his lifestyle, saying, “I thought for the first time in my life that I would go to therapy.”

He revealed how the recovery affected his bond with Eric, explaining, “I was so unhappy that I was unable to communicate my feelings… I pondered when I would be able to get back to doing things with him.”

Eric humorously called him “Iron Man” after the surgery, which Simon said helped him see the bright side.

Now, Simon continues to joke about his setbacks, proving his resilience and optimism: “Maybe this isn’t such a great idea,” he laughed about trying stunts again.
