As Eli Lilly CEO David Ricks was speaking, he stopped mid-sentence, calling out, “Are you okay? Gordon, are you okay?” Dr. Mehmet Oz and several others rushed to help as Findlay fell and was gently laid on the floor. Reporters were then escorted out.
Meanwhile, Trump’s reaction — or lack of one — became the center of online outrage. Photos showed him “just standing there,” motionless behind the Resolute Desk. One viewer wrote, “Jeezus look at Trump during that… thank God Oz was there.” Another added, “Trump just stands there!!!! Doesn’t even ask for help.”
