Greg Biffle’s Family Shares a Brief Statement

The families of those who lost their lives in last Thursday’s plane crash have released a joint statement, speaking publicly for the first time about the tragedy that claimed retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, and members of their family. The statement, shared by Fox Sports motorsports reporter Bob Pockrass, expressed deep grief and emphasized the lasting impact the loss has had on everyone involved.

In their message, the families described Greg and Cristina as devoted parents whose lives revolved around their children. They highlighted the joy and curiosity of five-year-old Ryder, as well as the kindness and warmth of 14-year-old Emma, Greg’s daughter with his former wife, Nicole Lunders. The families noted that both children were deeply loved and brought happiness to those around them.

The statement also confirmed the identities of three additional victims. Dennis Dutton and his son Jack were remembered as cherished family members and friends, while Craig Wadsworth was described as a respected presence within the NASCAR community. Each of them, the families said, held an important place in the lives of many.

According to authorities, the Cessna C550 aircraft crashed while attempting to land at Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina during poor weather conditions. The plane had departed shortly before and was reportedly bound for Florida. As investigations continue, the families have asked for privacy while they focus on honoring the lives lost and supporting one another during this difficult time.
