We announce the passing

They remember how she “smiled through exhaustion,” turning hospital corridors into “hallways of hope.” When the diagnosis came, it could have swallowed her whole. Instead, she chose to speak, to advocate, and to turn her fear into fuel for others facing illness. She educated, organized, and showed that illness could steal much, “but not dignity, not purpose, not the right to be seen.”

At home, she was simply “Mom,” wrapping her children in love that refused to be dimmed by pain. They watched her fight, but also watched her laugh, nurture, and show up in small, quiet ways. Her courage and kindness were lessons lived daily, not just words.

Even in her absence, the lessons remain. Her children cling to what she taught: to be brave, to be kind, and “to live wide awake.” Though her body is gone, her example continues to guide them, proving that the impact of a life lived with courage and love cannot be measured by time alone.

Her story reminds us that facing hardship with purpose and heart can inspire others. She turned fear into action, pain into teaching, and everyday moments into enduring lessons of love and resilience.
