Al Roker’s Wife, Deborah, Describes Her Husband’s Health Crisis “Worrisome” And “Exhausting”

Renowned weatherman Al Roker was absent from Today from late November to January 6th, 2023, due to health issues. He was hospitalized following a near-fatal event caused by blood clots in his lungs. In his own words, he revealed, “Last week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs.” Thankfully, he received excellent medical care and was on the road to recovery. Al Roker also disclosed his battle with prostate cancer and multiple surgeries for hip and knee problems. Despite health challenges, he completed the Brooklyn Half Marathon.

His colleagues expressed their support, with Hoda Kotb sharing her joy, Dylan Dryer offering prayers for a speedy recovery, and Craig Melvin sending love. Al Roker’s wife, Deborah, discussed the challenges of being a caregiver during this trying time and expressed her gratitude for their well-being.
