SICK pictures show the beloved late country singer’s car after it crashed and killed the driver.
Unfortunately, Ivana Pino Arellano, better known as “La Rancherita de Chanco,” died in a car accident. She was a beloved country singer.
Pictures from the scene of the accident show that her car was badly damaged and had flipped over on the side of the road.
The singer lost control of her car and flipped it over just one day after having a party with family and friends to celebrate her 32nd birthday.
The accident that killed one person happened on the M-80 road near the town of Pelluhe in central Chile’s Maule Region.
The driver, Arellano, died at the scene of the accident, and her passenger was seriously hurt.
The crash’s cause is still being looked into, but it’s thought that the singer lost control of her car because the road was wet and it flipped over.
As a mother of four, Arellano was both a rising star in country music and a loved member of her community.
Her tragic and sudden death has left that community in grief.
Her wide range of powerful vocals and captivating stage presence earned her a large fan base in her home country of Chile, where the local government backed her and fans adored her.
Arellano, a very skilled artist, combined traditional Latin American sounds with modern ones.
With her heartfelt lyrics, rich vocals, and acoustic instruments, she often mixed folk, pop, and indie music styles to make her own modern take on these classics.
Many of her songs were about love and growing as a person, and she had a lot of fans who liked how honest and raw she was.
The sad news was confirmed by the Municipality of Chanco on social media, where they called the singer a “unforgettable figure whose charisma will resonate eternally in our lives.”
“The name ‘Ivana’ for us will always mean happiness and joy in its purest essence,” said they.
“Your departure leaves a void impossible to fill, but your legacy will endure through time, reminding us of the beauty of your spirit and the generosity of your heart.”
These feelings were shared by the local council, which praised Ivana’s commitment to public service and her unwavering love for her family.
“Ivana personified the spirit of public service with passion and love, always ready to help others and find solutions even in the most difficult moments,” the singer’s family said.
They said, “Her husband and children were the center of her life and the reason she did everything she did.”
Family, friends, and fans came together to pay their last respects at the Curanipe Parish Cemetery in Pelluhe on June 17.
In their post, the Municipality of Chanco said, “Thank you, Ivana, for giving us days full of light and peace.”
