Princess Kate reveals she is done with chemotherapy, “cancer-free” in new statement

Princess Kate has announced she is now “cancer-free” after completing chemotherapy. In a statement from Kensington Palace, she shared her relief: “I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.” Reflecting on the past months, she described the journey as “incredibly tough,” adding, “Life as you know it can change in an instant.”

Catherine spoke about the emotional challenges, saying cancer brings “a new perspective on everything” and makes you confront “your own vulnerabilities.” While she will gradually resume public duties, her focus remains on health and recovery: “My path to healing… is long, and I must take each day as it comes.”

Expressing gratitude, she thanked supporters: “William and I are so grateful… Everyone’s kindness, empathy, and compassion has been truly humbling.” She also offered solidarity to others battling cancer: “I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand.”

This news comes after months of public concern, including rumors sparked by her absence and a Mother’s Day photo controversy.
