A Woman Who Became A “Vampire” By Covering Entire Body In Tattoos Issues Warning

Maria José Cristerna, famously known as the “real-life vampire,” holds the Guinness World Record for the most bodily modifications, and she’s sending a powerful message to those thinking of following in her footsteps. With over 50 physical alterations, Cristerna’s striking appearance and dedication to self-expression have made her a global sensation.

Starting her journey at just 14, Cristerna’s body has become a canvas for her art, adorned with tattoos, piercings, and implants. Her modifications include arm and forehead implants, a split tongue, and even tattoos covering her eyeballs. Cristerna’s love for art is deeply personal, and she credits it as an escape from an abusive 10-year marriage.

“I express my art through my body,” Cristerna shared with Guinness World Records. Her changes represent strength and resilience, and she encourages others to love themselves and pursue happiness.

However, she warns against making such permanent choices lightly. “Think carefully. It’s irreversible,” she advises. Though proud of her own journey, Cristerna urges young people to consider the long-term impact of body modifications before committing.

Despite her caution, Cristerna continues to modify her body, sharing updates with her followers on Instagram.
