Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is reportedly urging the mothers of his 11 children to move with him to a cluster of three neighboring mansions in Austin, Texas. His vision involves creating a shared living arrangement for his family, including three of his children with musician Grimes (Claire Boucher), despite her preference for an additional mansion, possibly in Los Angeles, for more family separation.
Shivon Zilis, an executive at Musk’s Neuralink and the mother of Musk’s twins, reportedly supports the plan and has already relocated to Austin. However, Justine Wilson, Musk’s first wife and mother of his older children, has yet to commit. Musk’s attempts to unify the family may face challenges, particularly due to strained relations with his daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, who transitioned in 2022 and distanced herself from Musk over his views on transgender issues.
Musk has previously stated that he views population decline as a serious threat, aiming to “fix the problem” by expanding his family. His 12 children come from relationships with three women: his first wife, Justine, Grimes, and Shivon Zilis.
