After a Chiefs-Panthers game, fans were crowding the railings when the boy slipped over the edge.Wharton reacted instantly, catching the boy mid-fall and, with the help of a security guard, safely returned him to the stands. Video footage shows the guard struggling to keep kids away from the railing before the incident.Wharton, who joined the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2020, expressed his hope to invite the boy to a future game to share the experience. The incident followed the Chiefs’ narrow 30-27 victory over the Panthers, marking their 10th straight season with double-digit wins.
