His kids looked stunned as I pointed to Mom, exhausted and holding a toddler. “Maybe you should care for your own children instead of dumping them on my mother,” I told them.
Greg claimed I was overreacting, but I wasn’t. My mom deserved love, not to be a maid. She quietly packed her bags, and we drove home. Days later, she began looking into annulments.
