Melania Snubs Jill Biden, Will Skip Traditional White House Meeting

Contrary to earlier reports, First Lady Jill Biden and incoming First Lady Melania Trump upheld tradition by meeting at the White House before President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration. The Bidens welcomed the Trumps for a private tea ceremony, symbolizing a peaceful transfer of power.

This meeting marked a return to customary practices, as Donald Trump had not attended Joe Biden’s inauguration in 2021. The two families later traveled together to the Capitol for the swearing-in ceremony.

During the inauguration, Melania Trump wore a sharply cut outfit, reflecting her favored first lady style.

The event was attended by key tech figures and foreign dignitaries, signifying a significant political shift with Trump’s policies set to reshape various aspects of government and international relations.

In related news, former Vice President Kamala Harris is contemplating her next steps following her election loss, with speculation about a potential 2028 presidential run and plans to write a book.
