Less Than 24 Hours After Taking Office, Donald Trump Has Already Changed A Few Laws

Donald Trump has already initiated major changes in his second term as the 47th President of the United States, sworn in on January 20. Among his executive orders, he restored the death penalty, calling it “essential for deterring heinous crimes.” He directed the Attorney General to ensure states have the necessary drugs for executions.

Trump also declared the U.S. will leave the World Health Organization, stating, “World Health ripped us off.” On immigration, he vowed to “halt illegal entry” and revoke citizenship for children of undocumented immigrants. Additionally, drug cartels are now classified as terrorist organizations.

These sweeping changes reflect Trump’s priorities.
