Correct way to wipe your butt has finally been revealed after fears people have been doing it wrong for years

Everyone poops, but there’s only one right way to wipe. “Hopefully, there is no debate on this,” because doing it wrong can cause hygiene issues. Different cultures have unique methods: the UK wipes sloppily, Russians supposedly use a pogo stick technique, and Europeans favor bidets—arguably the best option.

If you’re using toilet paper, the proper technique is wiping front to back. “It’s especially important for people with vaginas,” as it prevents infections. For those with penises, it avoids residue under the foreskin.

To wipe correctly, reach behind or between your legs and wipe towards the toilet. Use enough tissue or wet wipes until clean, but don’t scrub to prevent skin irritation.

If wiping isn’t enough, a shower is ideal. Otherwise, wet wipes and extra underwear can help. After all, “nobody wants to walk around the mall with a slippery ass.”
