Trump shares his brutal nickname for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

President Donald Trump has imposed new tariffs on Canada, taxing imports at 25% and energy products at 10%. In response, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced retaliatory tariffs on $30 billion worth of U.S. goods.

Trump criticized Trudeau on Truth Social, writing, “Please explain to Governor Trudeau… our reciprocal tariff will immediately increase by a like amount!” His use of “Governor” appeared to mock Trudeau.

Trudeau fired back, calling the move “reckless” and a “trade war against Canada.” He added, “Donald, even though you’re a very smart guy, this is a very dumb thing to do.”
