Daughter moved pen in dying mum’s hand to sign whole £700,000 estate over to herself

Woman Denied Inheritance After Forcing Dying Mother’s Signature

Lisa Baverstock, 55, was denied sole inheritance of her mother Margaret’s £700,000 estate after damning footage showed her forcing her mother’s signature on a will.

She had printed a template will, making herself executor and sole beneficiary, then guided her dying mother’s hand to sign it.

Her brother John, 61, challenged the will, arguing it was “not the independent act of the deceased” but a “pantomime of due execution.”

Lisa inherited everything, cutting John out entirely, despite their mother being too ill to comprehend the document.

John also claimed Lisa had grown resentful and excluded him from their mother’s home.
