Her Legs Are Amputated After Using a Common Household Product – Now She’s Warning Women Everywhere!

she now raises awareness about the dangers of TSS. “I want to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else,” she said.

Wasser, then 24, developed flu-like symptoms before suffering organ failure and gangrene. Doctors traced it to TSS, a rare but severe reaction linked to tampon use. “I was perfectly healthy, and suddenly, my life changed forever,” she recalled.

Despite efforts to save her legs, she lost the right one and, years later, her left. “I had no choice; the pain was unbearable.” Now a model and activist, she encourages women to be cautious. “People don’t realize how dangerous this can be.”

She advocates for safer menstrual products and calls for transparency in tampon manufacturing. “We deserve to know what we’re putting in our bodies.”

Through her story, Wasser hopes to prevent others from experiencing the same tragedy. “If sharing my pain saves even one life, it’s worth it.”
