Jet Bursts Into Flames, Passengers Evacuate Onto Wing

Shocking footage captured an American Airlines jet bursting into flames at Denver International Airport, forcing nearly 200 passengers to flee onto the aircraft’s wing.

The Boeing 737-800, en route to Texas, was diverted due to “engine vibrations.” After landing, “an engine caught fire and passengers evacuated the aircraft using the slides,” the FAA confirmed.

Thick black smoke engulfed the jet as firefighters battled the flames. Some passengers crammed onto the wing while others slid to safety. No serious injuries were reported, but the incident left travelers shaken.
