Donald Trump Gets Hit in the Face by a Reporter During a Press Conference – Video

An awkward moment at Joint Base Andrews on March 15, 2025, left President Donald Trump laughing after a boom microphone accidentally hit him in the face during a press gaggle. Despite the mishap, Trump stayed in good spirits, joking, “She just made television tonight. She just became a big story tonight.” He laughed and asked reporters, “Did you see that?”

Reactions online were quick. Some joked, “That look 😂😂😂 #yourefired,” while others speculated, “She did it intentionally.” Another added, “It’s so disrespectful to the President. He could have fired her on the spot and he didn’t.”Just weeks earlier, Trump’s firm handshake with French President Emmanuel Macron sparked buzz. The two leaders were locked in what some called a “wrestling match.” One viewer quipped, “It has become a sport.”

Meanwhile, the White House banned AP reporters from events after they refused to use Trump’s newly ordered name for the Gulf of Mexico: “Gulf of America.” AP Executive Editor Julie Pace condemned the move, saying it “violates the First Amendment.”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended the decision, stating, “It is a privilege to cover this White House.”
