Clint Eastwood’s long-time partner breathes her last at 61, actor confirms in heartbreaking statement

Clint Eastwood has confirmed the passing of his long-time partner, Christina Sandera, at 61. “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” Eastwood, 94, shared in a statement via *The Hollywood Reporter*.

The couple had been together for nearly a decade, first appearing publicly at the 2015 Academy Awards, where *American Sniper*, directed by Eastwood, was up for six Oscars. They also walked red carpets for his films *The Mule* and *The 15:17 to Paris* in 2018. Their relationship was first reported in 2014 by *Us Weekly*, which mentioned Sandera worked at Mission Ranch, Eastwood’s hotel in Carmel, California.

Before Sandera, Eastwood was married twice—first to Maggie Johnson (1953–1984), then to Dina Eastwood, with whom he finalized his divorce in late 2014 after 17 years.

A Warner Bros representative told *The Hollywood Reporter*, “No further information will be forthcoming” about Sandera’s passing.

At 94, Eastwood is reportedly working on *Juror No. 2*, believed to be his final film. Fans hope this marks the fitting end to his legendary career, followed by a well-earned retirement.

RIP, Christina Sandera. Condolences to Clint Eastwood and her loved ones.
