Carrie Underwood’s Husband, Mike Fisher, Made a ‘Surprise’ Appearence at ‘Opry 100,’ Sparking Buzz

Carrie Underwood turned heads at “Opry 100: A Live Celebration” on March 19, 2025, when she arrived with her husband, Mike Fisher. The couple, married for nearly 15 years, rarely makes joint appearances. Fans were thrilled, with one calling Fisher the “Hot husband of the night,” while another said, “Her husband is so handsome, don’t see him much.”

The night grew even more emotional as Underwood honored country legend Randy Travis. She performed “Three Wooden Crosses” and “Forever and Ever, Amen.” During the final song, she handed Travis the mic, and he sang the last “Amen.” Underwood proudly announced, “Randy Travis everybody,” as the crowd gave a standing ovation. Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood wowed the audience with a duet of “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia.” One fan raved, “Absolutely perfection!” McEntire also delivered a moving a cappella tribute to Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, reminding fans of country music’s roots.

Kelsea Ballerini honored Barbara Mandrell with “I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool.” Reactions were mixed, though one fan praised, “She sounds amazing omg.”

The night celebrated 100 years of the Grand Ole Opry, uniting country music legends past and present.
