He continues to rest and work from his bed at Rome’s Gemelli University Hospital, receiving motor physiotherapy and respiratory therapy.Despite his condition, Pope Francis remains committed to his papal duties. He thanked volunteers and healthcare workers for their “miracle of tenderness,” recognizing their dedication and care.
For the fourth consecutive Sunday, he missed delivering his weekly blessing. However, he sent a message expressing gratitude to those who “support the sick and their families with love.”
In his absence, Cardinal Michael Czerny presided over the Holy Year Mass for volunteers. The Pope’s words of thanks were shared with those attending.
As of today, he continues therapies while staying active in his role, offering messages of hope and encouragement.
