As 2025 approaches, predictions from two famous mystics—Baba Vanga and Nostradamus—are resurfacing, mixing fear and fascination. Though Baba Vanga died in 1996, she’s believed to have made eerily accurate predictions, such as 9/11: “The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds.” Nostradamus, a 16th-century seer, is also credited with predicting events like the rise of Hitler and JFK’s assassination.
Both mystics warn of a grim 2025. Nostradamus mentions “cruel wars” and a new “ancient plague,” while Baba Vanga predicts a war in Europe that will “devastate” communities. He also warns: “From the cosmos, a fireball will rise,” hinting at an asteroid threat.
Still, there’s some hope. Nostradamus suggests the Russia-Ukraine war may end through foreign mediation. Baba Vanga hints at alien contact at a major sporting event, though she foresees a rocky human-alien relationship. Her long-term forecasts are equally unsettling: by 2130, humans may contact aliens; by 3005, Earth might go to war with Mars; and by 5079, the world ends. Until then, perhaps skip the New Year’s resolutions.
