Flight AI171, a Boeing 787-8 with 244 people on board, lost contact seconds after reaching 625 feet. It crashed into a medical college dorm in Meghani Nagar, Ahmedabad. “We are ascertaining the details and will share further updates,” Air India posted.

Vishwash, injured but conscious, ran through rubble to safety. “He was talking… and hobbling,” a witness video shows. His brother, who was also on the flight, remains missing.
