Lip reader ‘reveals’ what Melania said to Trump as she shot down comment he made during military parade

Melania and Donald Trump shared a light moment during the US Army’s 250th anniversary parade. Lip reader Nicola Hickling revealed Melania complimented the marching troops, saying, *“They’re good.”* Trump jokingly replied, *“I pushed my finger on one of them,”* to which Melania playfully shut him down: *“You didn’t do that.”* Trump conceded, replying, *“You’re right.”* The couple appeared relaxed and affectionate at the event, which also marked Trump’s 79th birthday.

Their relationship continues to spark speculation, especially as Melania keeps a low public profile. She’s been mostly absent from Trump’s political events and has only visited the White House a few times since his return to office.

At Pope Francis’ funeral, another lip reading moment emerged. Hickling claims Melania nudged Trump to participate in the “sign of peace,” saying, *“You should go do it,”* which he eventually did. Trump also reportedly whispered to her, *“I’ll go over and speak to him,”* possibly referring to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, before Melania gave him a “side eye.”

Despite criticism over his funeral behavior and attire, Trump ended up seated in the front row and spoke briefly with Zelenskyy before the ceremony.
