White House releases photos from inside Situation Room showing moments before US strikes on Iran

Donald Trump confirmed the US bombed Iran’s nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—calling it a “spectacular military success.” He warned: “Iran must now make peace—if not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.”

Photos from the White House’s Situation Room show Trump wearing his red “Make America Great Again” cap moments before the strikes. Vice President JD Vance is seen beside him. Trump posted on Truth Social: “We have completed our very successful attack… All planes are safely on their way home.”

Iran responded harshly. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called the attack “outrageous, extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal,” accusing the US of violating the UN Charter and international law. He added, “Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty.”

Tensions have escalated since Israel began striking Tehran on June 13. Iran has fired missiles in return, including one near a hospital in Beersheba. While damage occurred, no injuries were reported.

Asked if the US would launch more attacks, Trump replied cryptically: “I may do it, I may not do it. Nobody knows what I’m gonna do.” He later added: “Our patience is wearing thin.”
