President Donald Trump confirmed the US carried out airstrikes on three of Iran’s key nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan—declaring it a “very successful attack.” He warned Iran’s Supreme Leader, saying, “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding… We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”
The operation, dubbed *Operation Midnight Hammer*, involved over 125 aircraft, including B-2 stealth bombers, submarines launching Tomahawk missiles, and 75 precision-guided weapons. General Dan Caine stated the mission included deception tactics and bunker-busting GBU-57 bombs, striking between 6:40 and 7:05 p.m. EST.
Despite the secrecy, civilians spotted and posted videos of the bombers, with many mocking, “How is it stealth if the whole world sees them?”
Iran confirmed the sites were hit but denied serious damage. Foreign Minister Araghchi called the strike “extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal,” warning of “everlasting consequences.”
The attack followed a report that Iran could produce weapons-grade uranium within days. Trump’s move has escalated fears that the region may be heading toward broader conflict.
