A Ryanair flight from London Stansted to Kalamata, Greece, crash-landed into a barrier on Wednesday morning, severely damaging one of its wings while passengers were still inside. The Boeing 737 had faced **“severe turbulence”** during the flight, and though it landed safely at first, the situation quickly escalated.
“The crew said it was going to be a bumpy landing,” a source told *The Sun*. As the plane taxied toward the terminal, it suddenly **“turned and everyone heard this loud banging sound”** when it struck a red and white barrier.
Photos show the wing torn apart by the impact, leaving passengers shaken and confused. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but passengers were **told to remain on board** despite possible fire risks, which left many **“baffled.”**
The crash is under investigation, and Ryanair has not yet commented on the incident.
