Person who died for six minutes shares haunting vision of afterlife

A Reddit user shared a chilling near-death experience after their heart stopped and they were revived by EMS. “I was dead, technically,” they wrote, recalling a six-minute event that felt like a lifetime.

During that time, they described encountering a disturbing presence—”childlike yet cruel”—that tormented them emotionally. “It batted me around like a cat with a caught mouse,” they said, describing the pain as soul-deep, worse than any physical suffering.

The entity offered no comfort, only a terrifying message: their “reward” would be a slightly better place among a “slave population.” If they tried to warn others, the being promised worse torment upon their return.

Now recovered with a pacemaker, the Redditor says they no longer thank God. The experience wasn’t enlightening—it was haunting. “It wasn’t a salvation, but a revelation,” they said, one they wish they hadn’t received.

Though doctors dismissed it as trauma or hallucination, the person insists the experience was real and far more profound than anything in life. Their story challenges the idea of a peaceful afterlife and leaves a disturbing question: *What if death holds something far darker than we imagine?*
