New information has come to light regarding several young girls still missing following this week’s catastrophic floods in Texas.— Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

Devastating floods in Texas have left 23 girls missing after waters from the Guadalupe River overwhelmed Camp Mystic, a Christian girls-only summer camp. The camp, located near the river, had about 750 attendees when the sudden flood hit.

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick confirmed in a press conference that “23 girls are still unaccounted for,” sparking major search and rescue efforts. The floodwaters rose rapidly, reaching the river’s second-highest level ever recorded, according to ABC Eyewitness News.

Families of the missing girls have spoken to local media, expressing deep concern. One parent shared, “We’re holding on to hope, but it’s terrifying.”

Many of the camp’s cabins were damaged or completely flooded, making the rescue operation more difficult. Emergency responders continue to search the area by land, air, and water.

The flooding began on July 4, hitting Central Texas hard and leaving behind widespread destruction.
