Ksawery Jeżewski, a 17-year-old forward for Legia Warsaw’s U17 team, is in critical condition after a tragic car crash near Goślice, central Poland. His 18-year-old sister died at the scene.
The Toyota Yaris they were in veered off the road and hit a tree. Emergency crews, including an air ambulance, responded quickly. “A Toyota Yaris left the road for unexplained reasons and hit a tree,” police said. Speed is not believed to be a factor, and it’s still unclear who was driving.
Jeżewski was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities are continuing their investigation.

Jeżewski is seen as a promising football talent, having previously played for Wisła Płock and representing Poland in U17 matches against Albania.
