Baked cabbage steaks

Ingredients

  • 2 small cabbage
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ Tbsp each, salt & pepper

Make Baked Cabbage Steaks

Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the cabbage into ¾-1 inch thick steaks. Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 25-30 minutes until brown and tender. Serve hot.

Notes: Trim the stem slightly to avoid cabbage falling apart. Add red pepper flakes for spice, or parmesan and breadcrumbs for crunch. Refrigerate for up to 3 days; avoid freezing. Reheat in the microwave or oven at 350°F (175°C) until crispy and warmed.
