A viral video from a Coldplay concert in Boston has sparked major online drama. The clip shows a man and woman embracing, then suddenly pulling apart when they notice they’re on the big screen. The man ducks, and the woman hides her face, prompting frontman Chris Martin to joke, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”
Online sleuths quickly identified the pair as Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer. Byron is married, while Cabot is reportedly divorced. Neither has publicly addressed the video.
A lip reader claims the man said, “F\*\*\*ing hell, it’s me,” when he saw the camera. The TikTok user who posted the video, Grace Springer, said she didn’t know the couple, but “thought I caught an interesting reaction.”
A fake apology from Byron also circulated, which Astronomer confirmed was not real. Meanwhile, a different Andy Byron from Ireland had to clarify he wasn’t the man in the clip, joking, “I’m the Andy Byron who makes videos for big screens, not the one who gets caught on them.”
The incident, with over 50 million views, continues to stir speculation and memes online.
