Man named Andy Byron opens up about ‘strange 24 hours’ after being mistaken for CEO caught with employee on Coldplay jumbotron

**Mistaken Identity: Andy Byron Clears the Air After Coldplay Gig Mix-Up**

After a viral Coldplay concert video showed Astronomer CEO Andy Byron with his arms around Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot, confusion erupted—especially for another man with the same name.

In the clip, filmed at Gillette Stadium, Byron (who is married) appeared close to Cabot. When Coldplay’s Chris Martin called them out on the jumbotron, Cabot covered her face and Byron dropped out of view. Martin joked, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just really shy.”

Meanwhile, *another* Andy Byron, a creative director from Dublin, was bombarded online: “I started getting strangers from LinkedIn messaging, saying I got caught out bad,” he told *The Sun*. “It got so bad I had to turn off all notifications.”

He clarified online, joking, “No, this isn’t me. I wouldn’t be caught dead at a Coldplay concert,” and changed his LinkedIn title to: *“NOT THE GUY FROM THE COLDPLAY GIG!!”*

Using the attention wisely, he promoted his business: “I’m the Andy Byron who makes videos for big screens, not the one who gets caught on them.”

One commenter praised: “This is so good.” Byron added, “My wife is going to be so happy… I won LinkedIn for a day.”
