Tammy Slaton’s Stunning New Look After Surgery Has 1000-lb Sisters Fans In Awe

Tammy Slaton from *1000-lb Sisters* continues to amaze fans with her transformation. After years of battling obesity and food addiction, she’s lost over 500 pounds and recently had 15 pounds of excess skin removed in an eight-hour surgery. “After six years and losing over 500 pounds, I was finally approved for surgery,” she told *PEOPLE*. “I was just overwhelmed with excitement.”

Despite fear the night before, she pushed through. “I was even more nervous about having skin removal surgery… because they’re actually cutting the whole belly!” she admitted. Tammy joked after surgery, “It feels so weird not having the b\*\*l sack hanging off my face… It’s going to take a little while for me to get used to seeing myself like this.”

She dropped from 717 to 534 pounds—14 below her goal. “I proved everybody wrong… I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment,” she said.

Tammy also faced personal loss, mourning her husband Caleb Willingham, who died seven months after their wedding. She now wears his ashes in a ring and necklace.

In Season 7, Tammy revealed she’s in a new relationship—with a woman. “The person I’m dating is a woman… I think my family probably has more opinions than the world has a\*\*\*oles,” she joked.
