Prince Harry has suffered a heartbreaking loss with the death of 98-year-old Michael Brudenell-Bruce, the 8th Marquess of Ailesbury. He died after falling from his bedroom window while trying to rescue his cat, Honeybun.
His longtime partner, Teresa Marshall de Paoli, found him in a pool of blood after he hit his head on a concrete patio. “It was a freak accident,” she said, recalling the horror of the moment.
The tragedy happened late Sunday night in Shepherd’s Bush, West London. Emergency responders declared him dead at the scene. Although police initially treated the case as suspicious, they later confirmed it was accidental.
Lady Kathryn Brudenell Bruce, his daughter, and Teresa are left mourning the sudden loss.
Brudenell-Bruce was known for his distinguished past as a former Eton student, Royal Horse Guards captain, and stockbroker. His friends and family are grieving deeply.
