PIMPLES ON THE HEAD THAT YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF!!!

**Pimples on the scalp** aren’t just annoying—they can signal deeper skin or hygiene problems. One common cause is **folliculitis**, where “hair follicles become inflamed,” often from bacteria, sweat, or clogged pores. These bumps may be itchy, painful, or pus-filled.

**Scalp acne** works like facial acne, usually caused by “excess oil, hair products, or poor hygiene.” Breakouts often appear around the hairline or crown of the head.

Sometimes what looks like acne is actually **seborrheic dermatitis**—a condition with “red, scaly patches” caused by skin yeast. It often needs medicated shampoos.

Deeper lumps like **cysts or boils** can also form. These are more painful and may result from blocked oil glands or infections. “If they persist or grow, they should be examined.”

Other culprits include **fungal infections** like ringworm, which can cause inflamed patches and hair loss, and **allergic reactions** to products like shampoo or dye. “If pimples appear after using a new product,” stop using it and see a dermatologist.

Most scalp pimples are harmless, but frequent outbreaks should be checked by a professional. Stick to good hygiene, gentle products, and avoid buildup to keep your scalp clear.
