When She Was 5 She Had ‘The Most Beautiful Face In The World’ But Wait Till You See Her Today

At just five years old, Nigerian girl Jare Ijalana unexpectedly rose to fame when wedding photographer Mofe Bamuyiwa shared stunning portraits of her and her sisters, Jomi and Joba. “That day changed Jare’s life forever,” as her photo — featuring her natural afro — went viral overnight.

While all three sisters received praise, Jare’s image captured the most attention, earning her the title “Most Beautiful Girl in the World” from Yahoo Lifestyle. Her photo was widely shared by blogs, celebrities, and social media influencers.

Recognizing their potential, Bamuyiwa convinced their parents to open a joint Instagram account, @the\_j3\_sisters, which quickly gained over 160,000 followers.

Today, Jare has grown into a young model and celebrity. By age seven, she had graced magazine covers and walked in high-end fashion shows.

Bamuyiwa continues to photograph the sisters, aiming to document “the life of a young Nigerian woman” through his lens — a journey many look forward to following.
