Actor Patrick Adiarte, known for his role on the first season of *M\*A\*S\*H*, has died at 82.
Born in the Philippines, Adiarte built a long career in film, television, and musicals. He appeared in the movie versions of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s *The King And I* and *Flower Drum Song*.
On television, he guest-starred in popular series including *Bonanza*, *The Brady Bunch*, *Hawaii Five-O*, and *Kojak*. But his most memorable role came in the 1970s as Ho-Jon, the camp houseboy on *M\*A\*S\*H* from 1972 to 1973.
Beyond acting, Adiarte was a gifted dancer. He once performed with Gene Kelly, who praised him as “a potential successor to Fred Astaire.”
Adiarte’s career left a lasting mark on stage and screen, remembered both for his versatility and his talent.
