In 2016, Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, faced a harrowing experience when their son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer at just 3 years old. Bublé temporarily halted his career, noting, “Everyone understood in my world what my priority was.” He described his break from music as necessary due to feeling “unstable and vulnerable.”
Thankfully, in 2018, Noah’s condition improved after chemotherapy and surgery. Bublé explained that his son’s cancer battle profoundly impacted him, saying, “You don’t go through big things in your life without it having an effect on you.”
While Bublé has been protective of Noah’s privacy regarding treatment details, he expressed gratitude on “The Late Late Show with James Cordon,” tearfully thanking Jesus for Noah’s remission. Bublé admitted that he became the strength for his family during the ordeal, but his wife now supports him emotionally.
Bublé celebrated his son as a real-life superhero and emphasized the importance of cherishing family moments. He advised parents to embrace their children’s wonderment, as he believes “family is everything.”
Today, Bublé is returning to his career, releasing his album “Higher” and planning a UK tour in 2023.
