Actor Patrick Adiarte, best known for his role on season one of MASH*, died Tuesday at age 82.
Born in the Philippines, Adiarte began his career in musicals, appearing in the film versions of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King And I and Flower Drum Song.
He later moved to television, where he made guest appearances on popular series such as Bonanza, The Brady Bunch, Hawaii Five-O, and Kojak during the 1970s.
Adiarte’s most memorable role came in 1972, when he played “the camp houseboy Ho-Jon” on MASH*. He remained part of the cast through 1973, earning a lasting place in the hearts of fans of the classic sitcom.
His work across film, television, and stage left a mark on audiences, with his performances celebrated for decades.
