Donald Trump announced that the suspect in the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk has been arrested.
Speaking on Fox & Friends, the president said investigators are confident in their case: “I think with a high degree of certainty we have him in custody.”
Trump explained that authorities acted after receiving critical information from someone close to the suspect. “That tip ultimately led police to make the arrest,” he noted, calling the cooperation a turning point in the investigation.
